ROG.e 2026: we are in the oil & gas industry’s showcase

Forship Group takes part in the largest oil & gas and energy event in the Americas

Forship Group took part in ROG.e 2026, returning to one of the most important oil & gas and energy industry events in the world, which welcomed 83,000 visitors from September 21 to 24 at Riocentro, in Rio de Janeiro. Forship and HMSWeb Tecnologia da Informação showcased solutions and projects that reflect their expertise and operational excellence, and welcomed clients and partners at their 50 m² booth in Pavilion 4.

This was the eighth time Forship Group has been present at ROG.e, which featured more than 670 exhibitors, 100 sponsors, 57 startups and 924 technical papers presented at the congress. “We wanted to share this new cycle, marked by the consolidation of a robust portfolio of services for the O&G and Energy industry, covering the entire life cycle, from the very beginning, with commissioning engineering, in which we are an international benchmark, to asset operation and maintenance, including assets undergoing decommissioning,” said Fabio Fares, President and CEO of Forship Group.

Offshore route

At the event, Forship Group highlighted the expansion of its offshore operations, where it is responsible for the integrated operation and maintenance of 38 platforms undergoing decommissioning in the Sergipe-Alagoas and Ceará basins, the largest fleet ever awarded to a non-operator company for the O&M of these assets.

Since 2024, the company has also been responsible for the operation and maintenance of cranes, load-handling equipment and accessories, as well as industrial cleaning, on ten offshore units in the Santos and Campos basins, including pre-salt replicant FPSOs and strategic units such as the Roncador Maintenance and Safety Unit (UMS).

Onshore, it showcased its strength as the company responsible for the continuous operation of the country’s largest Natural Gas Processing Unit (NGPU), integrated with the Rota 3 gas pipeline at the Boaventura Energy Complex in Itaboraí (RJ).

It also reaffirmed its long-standing leadership in commissioning engineering, supported by proprietary technologies such as HMSWeb, a commissioning engineering management platform now licensed worldwide by HMSWeb Tecnologia da Informação.

“It is a digital solution widely used not only by the oil and gas industry, in both offshore and onshore projects, but also by a range of other sectors, including energy, shipbuilding, mining, and pulp and paper,” says Luciano Gaete, Executive Director of HMSWeb and IT Director of Forship Group.

The booth became a meeting point for employees, clients and partners, reinforcing the company’s role as a national benchmark in O&M, engineering and critical asset management. It also reflected Forship Group’s presence in the oil and gas industry, for which ROG.e is the biggest showcase.
