In 1998, when we decided to found Forship, we had a dream: to develop an integrated engineering, information technology and management solution to the recurring problems found in the commissioning process of complex industrial plants.
Since then, Commissioning and Forship have been inextricably linked.
We have built a path of innovation and developed a new culture, driven mainly by the support of our customers and staff. This partnership has consolidated Forship’s business success.

With the self-confidence of someone who has innovated, we have created a management culture of excellence and paved the way for product diversification.
In 2004, we carried out the first Operation & Maintenance (O&M) service. Soon afterwards, we started offering Modification services for offshore oil and gas platforms (O&G).
With the same focus and innovative spirit, we created the Brazilian Regulatory Compliance (BRC) product and developed training in Owner’s Consulting and Engineering services.
The success of our mechanical completion and commissioning management tool, HMSWeb© (Handover Management System), motivated us to create an independent company to offer this tool to the market, bringing an IT solution to our customers. Lightweight, simple and with proven effectiveness, it caters for large and complex projects, as well as small operational improvement projects in existing units.
This is how HMSWeb Tecnologia da Informação was born.
